Marriage & Family Cup Refund Policy

Thank you for supporting our work. Please read this Refund Policy carefully before using our services or making any contributions.

1. No Refunds on Services

Non-Refundable Services & “As-Is” Terms

All services provided by our organization are non-refundable.

Our services are offered strictly on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis, without warranties, guarantees, or representations of any kind, whether express or implied.

By engaging, scheduling, accessing, or participating in any service offered by our organization, you expressly acknowledge, understand, and agree that:

  • All sales are final. No refunds, credits, or reversals will be issued for any service that is rendered, partially rendered, delayed, rescheduled, canceled, interrupted, or missed for any reason.

  • No refunds will be granted due to dissatisfaction, perceived lack of benefit, personal expectations, change of mind, financial circumstances, technical issues, or any subjective evaluation of the service.

  • No refunds will be provided for scheduling conflicts, failure to attend, late arrival, early departure, inability to participate, or failure to complete any portion of a service.

  • No refunds will be issued for unused services, abandoned sessions, or discontinued participation, regardless of the reason.

  • No outcomes are guaranteed. Results vary by individual, circumstance, and external factors beyond our control. Any examples, testimonials, or descriptions of potential benefits are illustrative only and do not constitute promises or assurances of performance or results.

  • Participation in services is voluntary and undertaken at your own discretion and risk.

By proceeding, you waive any right to dispute, charge back, or otherwise seek reimbursement for services received, except where required by applicable law.

2. Donation-Based Support Model

Most of our services are provided at no required cost and are sustained through voluntary financial donations made by individuals who wish to support our mission and operations.

By submitting a donation, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Donations are made freely and voluntarily, without coercion or obligation, and are not required to access most services.

  • Donations are final and non-refundable, regardless of amount, frequency, or purpose.

  • Donations do not constitute payment for goods, services, programs, counseling, or any other benefit.

  • Donations do not create a client–provider, contractual, fiduciary, or professional relationship.

  • Donations are not conditional upon receiving any specific outcome, service level, response time, or result.

  • Once processed, donations cannot be returned, reversed, transferred, or credited, including in cases of dissatisfaction, misunderstanding, financial hardship, or discontinued participation.

  • The organization reserves the right to allocate donations in a manner consistent with its mission, operational needs, and legal obligations.

  • Any statements regarding tax deductibility are informational only and do not constitute tax, legal, or financial advice. Donors are responsible for consulting their own tax professional regarding eligibility for deductions.

By proceeding with a donation, you waive any right to dispute the transaction, initiate a chargeback, or seek reimbursement, except where required by applicable law.

3. Paid Services (If Applicable)

If any service is offered for a fee:

  • All fees are final and non-refundable.

  • Fees are charged for access, time, preparation, and operational costs, not guaranteed results.

4. Exceptions

Refunds will be considered only under the following limited circumstances:

  • A duplicate charge occurred as the direct result of a verified technical or payment processing error; or

  • A charge was applied incorrectly due to a confirmed system malfunction on our end.

No other circumstances qualify for a refund.

Cancellations – Marriage Cup Ministries

All cancellations of services, registrations, appointments, programs, or scheduled activities through Marriage Cup Ministries are subject to the following terms:

  • Cancellations do not entitle the participant to a refund, credit, or transfer of fees or donations.

  • Failure to attend, late arrival, early departure, or inability to participate does not constitute grounds for a refund.

  • The organization reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify services, events, or programs at its sole discretion due to operational needs, safety concerns, availability, or unforeseen circumstances.

Refund Request Procedure

Any refund request meeting the limited criteria above must:

  • Be submitted in writing via email or contact form;

  • Be received within seven (7) calendar days of the original transaction date;

  • Include the transaction date, amount, payment method, and a description of the alleged error.

All requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Submission of a request does not guarantee approval. If approved, refunds will be issued to the original method of payment when possible.

5. Chargebacks

We are committed to addressing billing concerns in good faith and encourage all users and donors to contact us directly before initiating any dispute with a bank, credit card provider, or payment processor.

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first providing us a reasonable opportunity to review and resolve the matter may result in the following actions, at our sole discretion:

  • Immediate termination of any current services, programs, or access privileges;

  • Permanent or temporary loss of access to future services, programs, digital resources, events, or community platforms;

  • Suspension or closure of associated user accounts or registrations;

  • Disqualification from participation in future offerings or donation-supported programs.

Chargebacks impose administrative costs, fees, and reputational risk on the organization. Accordingly, we reserve the right to contest disputed transactions when permitted by law and to recover any costs incurred as a result of improper or bad-faith disputes.

This policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

6. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Marriage Cup Ministries, including its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, representatives, partners, affiliates, and successors, shall not be liable for any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities of any kind arising out of or related to your access to or use of our services, programs, events, website, digital platforms, content, or materials.

  • Loss of data, corruption of files, system failures, or security breaches;

  • Loss of income, revenue, profits, opportunities, reputation, or goodwill;

  • Any damages resulting from reliance on information, guidance, resources, or materials provided by the organization.

This limitation applies regardless of whether the alleged liability is based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, equity, or any other legal theory, and even if the organization has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; therefore, portions of this limitation may not apply to you in those jurisdictions.

10. No Warranties

All services, programs, content, materials, information, and resources provided by Marriage Cup Ministries are furnished strictly on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organization expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to any implied warranties of:

  • Fitness for a particular purpose

  • Merchantability

  • Any defects or inaccuracies will be corrected;

  • Participation will lead to any specific outcome or benefit.

Use of our services and materials is entirely at your own risk.
